MAS Runner is a Sports Science Conditioning App for Athletes. The research driven training will guide your fitness beyond levels once capable. Long runs improve general fitness, but research suggests there is a smarter way. This is more true for athletes wanting to improve high intensity efforts during games. High Performance coaches and athletes have been using this type of training for years. Now its your turn to tap and reap the benefits.

The program is specific to your level of individual fitness. By performing an initial 6 minute run test, your training will be structured to your predicted Maximal Oxygen Uptake (VO2 max). This is achieved through correlating your VO2 max. with metres per second (m/s) for your individual program work to rest (W:R) intervals. It is the most effective, time-oriented, load-managed perscription of training you can perform. You will get out more than you put in.

Leaderboards is where your results show. Its the gratifying part of your efforts. Compare your MAS score across places, sports and teams. Filter to view similar athletes and standards across competitions, age groups and positions. You know your greatest results are achieved from extras when noone is watching. Leaderboards is the motivation to keep improving. Commit to yourself, be transparent and trust the process. Train to compete and compete while you train.

Guided intervals adds specificity to your work to rest efforts. Dont rely on general training prescription. With guided intervals the distance to cover is calculated with each session. Youll have reps that feel youre working too easy and reps youll be holding on till the end. Its specific because it ensures you receive the optimum training stimulus for each rep across the training sessions. No more rubbish reps going out too hard at the start of a session. Youre smarter than that.

MAS Runner incorporates your Perception of Effort to balance your training intensity and workload year round. Depending on off-season, pre-season and in-season, therell be training weeks skills, gym and conditioning compete for your priority. MAS Runner understands athlete life and is built accordingly. Ratings of Perceived Exertion (RPE) and Reps In Reserve (RIR) are recorded after each training session to monitor your Perception of Effort over time. The feedback informs your training program and prescription to ensure youre progressing long term without burning out. It will have you peaking when you need to.
